christening (and butterfly soup)

i was going through my steam library the other day and i remembered that i had bought ladykiller in a bind a few months back and i wasn't in the mood to play it but i did want to play something like it? so i tried looking online for similar games (you know, yuri) and one of the results was butterfly soup

and it was like i was straight back in 2018, when it had recently released, and talking about the game with one of my first online friends, and a person i've unfortunately lost contact with, shannon! she enjoyed it so much, she recommended it to other people in our friend circle and it blossomed from there. and i haven't spoken to those people in a long, long time and i don't remember who found the game either, but i was struggling with essentially picking a new username to go by (because i don't feel comfortable sharing my name here, not yet) after rainmaker and it felt perfect

if you haven't played it, it's this coming-of-age visual novel about a group of asian-american teenage girls in a baseball club! i can't offer a serious review because i only started replaying it today, but back then, akarsha was my favorite of the characters and that hasn't changed

please check it out if you can, it's a very cute story
